You know, I appreciate street-performing musicians, and if I have a couple throwaway bucks, I’ll donate.
But I have to say, it’s not often that I witness a street performer actually inside my place of work. That’s right, this guy Griffin, is street~sorry, “office performing”? THE DUDE IS INSIDE THE ZIPLIP BUILDING SOMEHOW?! He just walks in, flamin’ orange hair, bright red electric guitar slung over his shoulder, doesn’t say anything, and starts playing. There’s no way this guy has a guest pass, but the music is awesome!
Griffin and the Flying V is legit in our break room right now performing:
Sonata for Flying V – a hybrid of late 18th-century European classical and mid-20th century American pop forms.
This is his first piece from his arrangement,
I. Sonata Blues – sonata form, with 12-bars blues progressions
